Business Made Simple University has only been around for a couple of years, but with the release of the new book, Business Made Simple, we think there will be greater investments into the online platform.
The platform claims that it has everything you need to know to grow a business in short, digestible online courses, but does it live up to its claim?
We’ve searched the internet for several reviews about the platform to determine if its claims hold up with consumers.
And what we found was interesting.
So, read on to see what we and others have to say regarding Business Made Simple University through our reviews.
But first, why are reviews important? Who really cares anyway?
What Do Reviews Mean, Exactly?
In the realm of digital marketing, many think investing in SEO or paid ads is the way to go.
However, we believe that investing in the reviews your customers leave you is like word-of-mouth marketing on steroids. And we all know how effective word-of-mouth is.
So, customer reviews act as a sort of word-of-mouth marketing but at scale.
That’s why whenever you’re thinking of trying out a new restaurant, you read the reviews first.
Because you want to know what other patrons have experienced there.
Customer reviews, in the online marketing world, are very, very valuable. That’s why we give them credence.
So, without further ado, let’s review our first review.
Lone Fir Creative’s Business Made Simple University Review
Not unlike us, Lone Fir Creative is a StoryBrand-loving agency. So, it makes sense that the agency would write a review of BMSU.
The review itself is entirely positive and gives a quick overview of the courses at the time and the value each course offers.
The overall takeaway from Lone Fir’s review is that BMSU will:
“Help you further your career, grow your business, and make more money. You’ll learn how to create sound sales funnels, give your company a bigger vision and direction, lead your team to healthier lives and culture, and create clear messaging that grows your bottom line.
If you’re looking for a review that provides a simple overview of Business Made Simple University and its value, this is the review for you.

Caffeine Marketing’s Business Made Simple University Review
Caffeine Marketing, another StoryBrand-loving agency, also wrote a review for Business Made Simple University.
This review is also entirely positive, but it does provide a lot more content for each individual course and what users can expect to learn from that course.
The post is also written as a pillar page, so it’s easy to navigate to various parts of the article users might be interested in. This gets Caffeine Marketing some bonus points.
The article even covers if users would find a subscription to BMSU worth the investment:
“I can’t suggest the product enough. Its resources have been notably valuable to me, and I can see how they could apply to any stage of life or your professional career.”

Hughes Integrated’s Business Made Simple University Review
Our third review of Business Made Simple comes from a StoryBrand Guide and BMS Certified Coach, Rob Hughes of Hughes Integrated.
This review claims to be an “honest” one but we could see that it was entirely positive.
Hughes Integrated review is similar to Lone Fir Creative’s review – it’s a nice overview of the platform.
Hughes does provide an interesting critique, however, which we will cover in our review a bit later. The author says:
“The six courses can’t teach you everything you need to know to run a business. For example, there’s no instruction on how to manage the bookend of your business or how to define roles in your company. Business Made Simple’s website says more courses will be added regularly so hopefully, these omissions won’t last long.”
But the author continues by saying:
“So, is BMSU worth the money? Absolutely. BMSU’s courses are effective and they teach practical skills. The best part about the program is BMSU makes the business basics easy to understand. And if you put in the time to fill out your workbook, you will have the foundation you need to grow your company.”

Kore Talent’s Business Made Simple University Review
The final review we gathered from our research is from Kore Talents, a consulting firm.
Again, this is another entirely positive overview of the platform and its value.
The author sums up the article with this statement:
“I highly recommend the Business Made Simple platform for anyone who is in the process of ironing out their business and marketing plans. The information is provided in bite-sized pieces, followed by real business examples. The workbooks are well-developed, the speakers are engaging, and the content will transform the way you view marketing.”
Indeed, we agree. And if you’re looking for another good overview of the value of BMSU, here’s your review.
